Wild weird west savage worlds6/1/2023 Pregnant Holly Hagan cradles her growing bump as she jests her unborn baby is 'camera shy' while heading for a 4D ultrasound scanĭiamonds created by SUNLIGHT: Stand out this proposal season with Solar Diamonds that offer the best sparkle. It's definitely worth a look! I think you could probably get anywhere from 2-3 sessions out of it.A look into Susan Boyle's low-key lifestyle as the Britain's Got Talent legend celebrates turning 62Īward-winning Dave sitcom returns with TV favourite couple for a FIFTH season Probably not as politically convoluted as I like, but sometimes straightforward is good. I think Grubman published a free Western-themed adventure for Savage Worlds a few years ago (I drew fairly heavily from it in my game), called "The Gatling Decision," involving the PC's being hired to deliver a package (unknowingly containing a gatling gun) to some brigands, and then deciding to either finish the job (give the guns to the bad guys who will then take over the town), or use the gatling gun and train the townsfolk to defend the town. I think I pulled a lot of the Western-themed Edges out of Deadlands:Reloaded. So there were always some western background elements. Though, that said, one of the PC's was a troll native-analogue who rode a giant lizard (rather than a horse). The next session was rather less of a western. Buildings were blown up, a dramatic takeoff from the airfield as the authorities were trying to lock it down, a daring high-speed train-to-plane rope-ladder rescue, and a dogfight/plane-chase between the downtown city streets. The next session had the PC's helping to extract a spy from one of the nearby big cities. Except you can't always tell what the PC's will choose to do.Įven with skipping the climax (of this scenario), it worked out really well, all told. So in a way, it was intended as a sort of a reverse-Yojimbo. The climax was to be a standoff at the saloon, where the bandits surrounded the place and demanded the baron be turned over for a right and proper lynching.Įxcept the PC's had apparently decided that once they had their plane repaired, they were getting out of the rat-hole of a town. I think they even scouted out the bandit camp, but opted out of engaging them. The PC's got thrown into it as they had to move among the various power factions - needed supplies and spare parts from one, fuel from the other. I think they had a couple of rabble-rousers in town, and quite likely may have been involved in getting the bandits arms. I think there was also a minor faction involved - one of the nearby nation-states was looking to bring the town into the fold of their sphere of influence (the town had not insignificant strategic value, due to the refinery/powerplant). Add in a group of bandits, who recently got a huge power increase because they salvaged a machine gun from a crashed plane (most of the townsfolk had revolvers and lever actions at best - many still had muzzle loaders for hunting/self defense). Another faction were a group of human townsfolk who controlled the general store, blacksmithy, and several surrounding farms, jealous of the robber baron's largesse (and really didn't like him because he was an elf who seemed to favored elves). One faction was the local robber-baron elf (he ran the saloon, the bordello, and the local oil refinery/powerplant he had built), whom everyone knew was corrupt, but more importantly, willing to deal with anyone, so long that the deal benefitted his interests. In the big cities, the tech level was probably mid-1930s, but out in the frontiers, it was down around 1880 (with the occasional high-tech standout e.g. Click to expand. When I ran my three-shot Crimson Skies/Shadowrun-style mashup with Savage Worlds, the scenario took on much more of a western flavor, as the PC's found themselves temporarily planewrecked by a sandstorm in a small frontier desert town, with various political wrangling going on.

Puts system eero router inside home6/1/2023 And most do because Google has taken to security-shaming sites that don’t. And there’s nothing in there that says even vaguely that Eero can or will spy on your internet traffic.Īmong the many reasons, it (mostly) couldn’t even if it wanted to.Įvery single time you open an app or load a website, most now load over HTTPS. We didn’t see anything beyond boilerplate language for a smart router. We scoured the privacy policy, and the most the router collects is some basic information from each device connecting to the router that it already broadcasts, such as device name and its unique networking address. That’s true! Eero doesn’t monitor your internet activity. eero does not track customers’ internet activity and this policy will not change with the acquisition. Hi Steve! eero and Amazon take customer privacy very seriously and we will continue to protect it. Eero has an easy-to-understand privacy policy, and the company tweeted that the company will “continue to protect” customer privacy, noting that Eero “does not track customers’ internet activity and this policy will not change with the acquisition.” The acquisition will take time, and any possible changes will take longer. This calls for a lesson in privacy pragmatism and one of cautious optimism. How worried should you be that Amazon flips the switch on Eero and it’s no longer the privacy-minded router it once was? Rightfully so! It’s bad enough that Amazon wants to put a listening speaker in every corner of our home. Of the many concerns we’ve seen, the acquisition boils down to a key concern: “Amazon shouldn’t have access to all internet traffic.” Now it’s to be part of Amazon, some are anticipating the worst for their privacy. A lot of people like Eero because it wasn’t attached to one of the big tech giants. Not many had much love for Amazon on the privacy front. And in case you hadn’t heard, people are pretty angry.ĭeluged in a swarm of angry tweets and social media posts, many have taken to reading tea leaves to try to understand what the acquisition means for ordinary privacy-minded folks like you and me. In case you hadn’t seen, Amazon is buying router maker Eero.

Tidiness in a sentence6/1/2023 This morning, as the man was buried and the investigation over-so far as this room is concerned-we thought we could tidy up a bit.
